History

Nissan traces its roots to 1933, when Jidosha Seizo merged with Tobata Casting to form the company. The Leaf, launched in 2010, became the world's best-selling electric car. Nissan is part of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi alliance and is pushing new EVs and e-POWER hybrids.
