Lynk & Co 20 Pure Electric SUV Debuts at Chengdu Auto Show With Standard 800V and LiDAR

The all-new Lynk & Co 20 makes its world premiere at the 29th Chengdu International Auto Show, featuring standard 800V high-voltage architecture, LiDAR across all trims, and a factory-backed performance variant with a carbon-fibre rear wing generating 500N downforce at 180 km/h.

The 29th Chengdu International Auto Show opened on August 21, 2026, with Lynk & Co revealing its latest all-electric SUV, the Lynk & Co 20, alongside a factory sport package called the large spoiler version.

Positioned as a "refined driving-fun pure electric SUV," the Lynk & Co 20 brings together Lynk & Co's "The Next Day" design language with a focus on smart technology, driving dynamics and premium material quality for urban users.

Perhaps the most notable specification is that Lynk & Co is making both an 800V high-voltage platform and LiDAR standard across every trim level — a rare move in the competitive Chinese EV market, where these features are typically reserved for higher-end variants.

The 800V system supports 6C ultra-fast charging with a peak power of 460 kW, enabling a 10%-80% charge in approximately 12 minutes. The vehicle pairs this with a next-generation 16-in-1 silicon-carbide oil-cooled electric motor delivering 245 kW peak power and a top speed of 23,000 rpm, with a 0-100 km/h time of 6.4 seconds.

The advanced driver-assistance system, branded as Qianli Haohan H5, uses 28 high-precision sensors including a LiDAR unit to provide point-to-point navigation assist across city roads and industrial parks.

The large spoiler edition adds an OEM performance package, including a front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser, along with a lightweight high-strength carbon-fibre rear wing that generates 500 N of downforce at 180 km/h. The model is also available in a new "Active 24 Yellow" colour and features a two-tone cabin with yellow and black upholstery using faux-suede materials with embroidered lightning-bolt motifs on the seat bolsters.

Inside, the cabin includes 36 storage spaces, physical buttons and a crystal-cut rotary dial for frequently used functions, a large soft-glow vanity mirror with dual LED lights, cloud-feel seats, a 23-speaker Lynk Sound audio system, and what Lynk & Co calls the world's first exterior icebox and interior refrigerator combination.

Safety hardware includes a class-leading tyre blowout stability control system that detects and intervenes within 325 milliseconds, and a cage-body structure with 79.74% high-strength materials, including 2,000 MPa hot-formed steel offering 720-degree protection.

The Chengdu display also featured the Lynk & Co GT concept car "Time to Shine," the recently launched Lynk & Co 10 and Lynk & Co 07 GT, and the Lynk & Co 07 GT rally car set to compete in the 2026 CRC China Rally Championship — making Lynk & Co the first new-energy brand to enter the hybrid division of the series.

Lynk & Co celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2026, having accumulated over 1.84 million owners since its founding in Berlin in 2016.
