Huajing S Deliveries Hit Record 7,416 in September as Cumulative Total Passes 30,000

On October 1, Huajing Auto released September delivery figures for its flagship Huajing S — a large six-seat SUV. The model recorded 7,416 units delivered in the month, marking its highest monthly output since launch and extending a five-month streak of steady delivery growth.

On September 28, cumulative deliveries for the Huajing S officially surpassed 30,000 units, reaching another key market milestone since its launch.

Chip Shortage and New Model Variant

Global supply chain disruptions in the semiconductor sector caused a temporary shortage of chips for the vehicle's HarmonyOS cockpit infotainment system, putting pressure on the September delivery schedule and extending wait times for some customers.

To ease the bottleneck, Huajing Auto introduced a new HarmonyOS+ edition in four trim levels. The variant features the HarmonyOS cockpit 5.2 system, the MoLA 2.0 large language model, support for ten dialect recognitions, and an external display expansion port — broadening the product lineup while improving overall delivery capacity.

Product Positioning

The Huajing S is positioned as one of the few large six-seat SUVs in the approx. $20,000 price range offering Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 Pro smart driving system across the entire model range. The vehicle targets multi-member families, with emphasis on intelligent features, safety, interior space, and ride comfort.

Since launch, the Huajing S has built growing reputation in the family-oriented segment, drawing recognition for its differentiated positioning and competitive specification levels.
